Notice from the Spring Lake Heights Water Department

Residents may notice a slightly salty taste in the water. Unfortunately, salt used during winter snow events makes its way to nearby rivers and streams through runoff, eventually increasing salinity levels in surface water drinking sources. Please understand the water continues to meet all health-based primary drinking water standards.

In an effort to offset the recent impact, the borough will be increasing the volume of well water supplied during this time to mitigate the taste.
